About the Program

The UConn PT C.A.R.E.S. Student-Oriented Learning Experience is a student-led, faculty-guided initiative of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program that offers rehabilitation and wellness services to uninsured or underinsured community members who may not otherwise be able to receive physical therapy services. Community volunteers with rehabilitation needs can work with physical therapy students under the direct supervision of physical therapist faculty members.
